It's been a long time! Life in Mexico has taken over, and we've become so engaged in our daily life that things like updating a blog keep getting put on the back burner.
But it's time to turn a new page! The house is fully functional now, if not entirely finished (one can always find another project!), and we can at least show you how things look for the present. So welcome to Casa Tortuga!

We took a trip to Baja California recently, and we'll get a little info about that up on the site soon. It's an indicator of what's in store. We're beginning to dream of and plan for some serious traveling, so we'll do our best to take you along as it unfolds. Your blog is so wonderful! I happened across it accidentally while trying to get info on Kino. I am trying to move my family there, but I need to make sure there are schools that the kids can attend.
